CNC BUTLER MACHINE COMPLETED

After a year of installation, refurbish work and commissioning our Butler CR15V4 is now finished and has completed its first job. The machine was purchased from the West Midlands and needed extensive work to restore it. The whole machine was cleaned and painted, the ballscrews have been refurbished, the rotary table axis has been completely overhauled with new gearbox internals and a centrally mounted positional encoder. Extensive work has been done on the electrics and a new spindle drive installed. New or refurbished slideway covers have been installed along with a new operator pendant.

The machine is a vertical and horizontal spindle machine with travels of 1300 mm x 1200 mm x 1000 mm. It has a full rotary axis allowing work to be done on four sides of a component at one setup.
